Pre-construction planning
Every home we build starts the same way, with a conversation about how you want to live. We talk through your goals, your budget, your timeline and the picture you have in your head, and then we go look at the land. Access, utilities, septic feasibility, terrain, views, covenants and buildability all decide what is possible on a given lot in the Flathead Valley, and it is better to know early than to find out after the plans are drawn.
From there the drawings take shape. Floor plans, exterior style, specifications and the details that make a house yours get refined into something that can actually be built. Alongside the design we set honest expectations about cost, scope, allowances and contract pricing, and we help you understand what financing looks like before decisions get expensive. When the plans are ready we prepare them for the local building department, handle permitting and engineering, and put a schedule against them. By the time planning is complete the surprises are behind us and the path forward is clear.
Construction
Then the work starts. Clearing, excavation, utilities and foundation come first, and the day framing begins is the day the house stops being paper. Walls and roof systems go up, then windows, doors and roofing close it in, and electrical, plumbing and HVAC go into the walls while there are still walls to go into. Drywall, paint, siding, trim, cabinetry, flooring and fixtures follow, and that is when the rooms start to look like the drawings.
At the end there are final inspections, a punch list worked until it is empty, and a walkthrough where we hand you the keys. Welcome home.
